Therap Oversight Access for Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy
If your agency uses Therap for eMARs, you can give oversight access to Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy. This allows the pharmacy to help manage medication documentation and eMAR updates in real time. Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy can only access individuals that you choose to link. You can add or remove access at any time.

What Is Therap Oversight Access?
- Oversight access allows Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy to view and help manage eMAR records in your Therap account
- Pharmacy staff can only see the individuals you link to their oversight account
- All pharmacy activity is logged and can be monitored by your agency

What Information Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy Can See
When an individual is linked to the pharmacy’s oversight account, Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy can view:
- Medication Administration Records (eMARs)
- Medication histories and pharmacy-entered prescriptions
- Demographic details necessary for eMAR documentation (such as name and DOB)
- Physician Order Sheets uploaded to the individual’s record
- Any alerts or errors related to medication documentation
- Activity logs for pharmacy staff actions
📝 Note: Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy cannot see notes, ISP data, behavioral supports, financials, or any documentation unrelated to medication.
⚠️ Caution: Only authorized pharmacy staff can access the oversight account, and access is strictly limited to medication-related functions.
How to Request Oversight Access
To connect your Therap account to Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy:

Log in to your Therap account

Go to your Dashboard and select Create Issue

Set the Category to: Question

Copy and paste the following for Subject:

Please link our Therap account to the Oversight Account for Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy.
We understand that:
1. This allows account administrators from Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy to create users with access to our Therap provider account.
2. These oversight account users will only have access to individuals we link.
3. All oversight account user activity is logged and visible in Activity Tracking, which we are responsible for monitoring.

- Therap will notify you once the connection is complete
📝 Note: You must link each individual separately before Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy can view their eMARs. See the following section.
Linking or Unlinking Individuals
- Use the Individual Demographic Form (IDF) to link or unlink a person from the pharmacy oversight account
- You can update this at any time (for example, when a person is admitted or discharged)
How to add/remove oversight agency in Therap
What Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy Can Do
- View eMARs for linked individuals
- Enter medication history and prescription updates
- Configure and approve med changes mid-cycle
- Assist with Physician Order Sheet setup
- Help resolve documentation access issues related to med changes
📝 Note: Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy does not manage or edit non-medication tasks (such as vitals or hygiene tracking) in the eMAR. Those are managed by your agency.
Important Reminders
- Oversight access is optional but strongly recommended for clients using Therap eMAR
- Only the people you link are visible to the pharmacy
- Make sure your agency regularly checks the Activity Tracking logs
- Reconfigure eMARs promptly if you add or change non-medication tasks
