📘 What You’ll Learn
How to contact Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy after hours and how emergency medications are handled when the pharmacy is closed.

Steps to Follow

1. Call the Pharmacy First
• For anything urgent, always call the pharmacy’s main phone number
• After hours, press 2 to reach the on-call pharmacist

2. Send the Prescription to Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy
• Always have the provider send the prescription to Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy
• This allows the pharmacy to update the MAR (Medication Administration Record)

3. Follow the Pharmacist’s Instructions
• The on-call pharmacist will decide the best way to get the medication to you
• There are two options that may be used:

🔹 Option 1: Statim RX Courier Delivery
• If the medication is needed right away, the pharmacist may use Statim RX, an emergency pharmacy partner
• A nearby pharmacy will fill a short supply (usually a few days)
• A courier will deliver the medication
• Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy will then send more medication to complete the cycle

🔹 Option 2: Pickup from a Local Pharmacy
• The prescription can be transferred to a nearby retail pharmacy
• The agency can pick it up directly
• This medication may be in different packaging and may not match the usual cycle supply

⚠️ Important Reminders
• Always call the pharmacy and press 2 after hours for urgent questions or medications
• Have all prescriptions sent to Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy so the MAR can be updated
• Medications from another pharmacy may have different packaging or a smaller supply
